 There was this one girl I had spoken to in earlier grades who said that she wore pants because every other girl did. I was really the Trending I Love Miners Minecraft T-shirt Besides,I will do this only skirt/dress girl at the time. She was amazed that I was so “daring”. I asked her why she wore jeans when she hated them just much as I did and she said she was scared of the other girls judging her. There’s this weird idea girls have that if you’re wearing a skirt or dress, you want attention, or you’re self-sexist. Zooey Deschanel is criticized for being a dress girl, too. I wear leggings and workout pants too, because they cover my legs without being uncomfortable like jeans but still following the same idea. It’s fitted to my shape. I always have a skirt, dress, shorts, coat, or shirt to cover by butt though, because I don’t like the idea of somebody knowing what type of panties I’m wearing.

Sometimes though I’ll go out in a tanktop and a small skirt because I just don’t feel like putting in the effort for the day. Guys are going to sexualize me (not all, I’m well aware), yes, but that doesn’t mean they get to do anything with me. They have fantasies whether or not I dress up or dress down because they either wonder what I look like under all of the clothes or without the rest of my clothes. People will think what they will and I can’t police that, nor would I try. But they sure as hell will not dictate what I wear. It’s my life. My body. If they feel embarrassed about me, I really don’t care, because I have nothing to do with their life. I am not going to dress properly because they feel offended just looking at me. I’m not in their house. I’m out in the streets minding my own business. I do not have to dress up or look presentable for you, you absolute stranger.
