During this time we found out he had moved there to take care of his grandmother, and was selling cars to pay for her care. His family didn’t have a ton of money. The rest of his family lived in Georgia, and he was basically the only one who offered to make the 600-mile trip to move away from everyone else just to take care of their grandmother.

I mean, he was ignoring us, then he pulled another salesman off of their break instead of just talking to me himself. I’m glad I did what I did. Here she is in all her glory. Yes when I was 26 I went to buy a corvette while my wife and I were wearing sweat suits. After about 30 mins of looking at the car, a man finally came up with a stupid smirk and said “ can I help you ?” I said I’d like to buy this car! To which he replied “me too. Theres some great used cars over there, then walked away leaving my wife and I standing there. We went and asked the man In the used department if he could sell us the corvette in the showroom? He said “of course!” We told him the story and he laughed, apologized and did up the paperwork after giving us a hell of a deal. While driving out of the showroom I said to the first salesman ““good luck owning one – it’ll never happen off commissions if you treat people like you treated us !! 2 years later we traded up to a newer year and he ran up said can I help you?? I said yes we’re trading up! And I need to see Vince the man who sold me this one!! He knew exactly who we were as we’d spoken many times when I’d been in for services. Haha 😂 don’t judge a book!!
