My winter wear is the Fayetteville Woodpeckers Baseball T-shirt also I will do this same as my summer wear, except for switching jackets when its really cold, or wearing gloves if I will be outside for longer than 10 minutes. Yesterday I stood outside on cold, sub freezing concrete talking to my sister. I had bare feet and a t-shirt, khaki pants. After about 10 minutes of yakking I’d had enough of the cold and went back inside. Probably a minute later I had forgotten about my cold feet. I’ve spent an hour or two outside in a tshirt and flannel pants, shoveling snow. No socks in my shoes. I’d gone out to push the garbage can to the street, and on my way back I decided to shovel a bit. “A bit” turned out to be an area big enough to park four cars. Then I decided to shovel a path around back of the house so the cat wouldn’t have to run through deep snow. That led to the deck, so I shoveled that off, and then made another path to the other back door, where there is a cat door. In winter I will wear a few layers. Lately thats been a tshirt, covered by a thin orange coloured wind proof jacket, then another one of dark brown cotton over it. Both are summer jackets, though the wind proof one(cotton/rayon) is more for hiking in cool climates. Normally one would wear the cotton underneath the other, but it looks(and fits) better reversed.
