I was with a group of young people and one of them had a tailor in Singapore that his father had gone to for 20 years and was planning to visit so he brought me as well.

To put it into perpective I am planning to go back to visit Singapore in the next two years specifically to visit the tailor and have a few suits and a dozen shirts made for me. They don’t try and “sell you” and they are extremely professional and won’t ever forget who you are. If you aren’t happy with something they will fix it for you at their expense. Prices are reasonable for the quality, my shirt was S$100 and it was a mid range to a bit more expensive design. My friend bought top of the line italian designer fabric for his shirts and paid S$200 or so per shirt maximum. Like anything bespoke, prices depend on material and specifications but the pricing here was reasonable and much higher quality than other bespoke shirts friends bought from elsewhere. If you take a taxi there and go in the main entrance they are just down the stairs to the left.
