She hates us now so she takes over for the cashier. She takes the first jug of water, scans it, and puts it in a bag. Then, without saying anything about how we couldn’t buy the other two, she took them and set them on the ground. My dad took one of the jugs of bleach off of the conveyor belt and handed it to my mom to go buy at the self-checkout. He asked for at least one of the jugs of water but the manager refused to give them to us. My mom went to get another gallon of water and I stayed with my dad. He tells the manager that she’s being a bitch (without using that word because I was there). She gets mad at him (obviously) and says “You know, I could have stopped that thing with the eggs.” My dad said something about how what he did was absolutely allowed since he was a different customer from a different household and that there is nothing she could have done to stop him.

I mean how long will 12 eggs last for that many people?! Sorry if this was boring. I probably didn’t do a great job explaining but I hope I got the point across. This wasn’t overheard but rather directed toward me specifically.. once while I was shopping an older man took it upon himself to teach me about impressing a future suitor.
